What to do When You are “Tired as a Mom.”

Xylooligosaccharide. It was on my supplements list during pregnancy and the nurses always giggled when they had to read it. Say it ten times fast! It’s a powerful prebiotic , XOS for short, and the benefits are 𝑎𝑚𝑎𝑧𝑖𝑛𝑔!

How about increasing lactobacillus by 365Xs, Bifidobacterium by 290Xs, and Akkermansia by 290Xs?

It’s the key ingredient in my pink drink and something id highly recomend!

While I lovd my plexus gut health supplemen, I decided to look at some other supplements that I might benefit from during this postpartum time. I pulled out Aviva Romm’s Adrenal Thyroid Revolution and took her questionnaire. This helps you identify when you might be struggling the most and what is contributing the most to your health struggles. Then I pulled out my bullet journal and started taking notes. I had my Plexus catalog handy to reference similar ingredients. Plexus is limited in what they can claim for their products, but if you take time to look at the ingredients, you’ll see that slim is much more than a “weight loss drink”! And our energy drink—Active—is actually just what I need (turmeric, l-theanine, and green tea extract!) Have I mentioned, I love these supplements?

Tens of thousands of new moms struggle with exhaustion, depression, difficulty loosing (or gaining) weight, and even difficulty producing enough breast milk. These are NOT just “normal” for the first year, but can be signs of hypothyroidism. It makes the job of motherhood that much more difficult and can lead to anxiety, stress, guilt, and depression.

A woman is more vulnerable to autoimmune thyroid problems during pregnancy and postpartum because of the natural changes in immune system and hormones. (I highly recommend the book: The Adrenal Thyroid Revolution.)

Symptoms of Hypothyroidism

  • Insomnia
  • Agitation
  • Anxiety
  • Fatigue
  • Heart palpitations
  • Unexplained weight loss or weight gain
  • Cold intolerance
  • Brain fog
  • Constipation
  • Hair loss
  • High cholesterol
  • Low immunity
  • And more

Please, please, please, if you’ve experienced this, don’t think you’re crazy, or even that this is somehow normal. This is your body’s way of saying something is not right!

Fixing the Root

There are multiple root causes for thyroid and adrenal problems.

  1. Stress
  2. Blood sugar imbalance
  3. Stealth infection
  4. Toxic overload
  5. Gut imbalance
  6. Food triggers

I can’t diagnose, but I can raise awareness! Research it for yourself. Find your own answers, but don’t go on living as a shell of the mom you were meant to be!

If you think that you might need help getting to the root of the issue the body balancing combo I get from plexus hits all these root causes! With a money back guarantee!

psss! There is also an amazing discount right now, so it is the perfect time to try it for yourself!

And if you just want a friend to talk to a cheer you on in your own journey, I’m here! Drop me a comment, connect with me on social media, or shoot me an email.

And to the beautiful women who have been that friend for me, Thank you!

Tip: If you do get blood tests, research which labs to request. Many doctors only look at THS which can come back within normal range even if you have low functioning thyroid.
